Not full of crap yelp reviews just solid restaurants. Would love to see more places covered but these restaurants are reliable.

Listing includes many restaurants that have closed. New restaurants reviewed in recent magazine issue are not to be found.
Id like to at least be able to "add to to-do list" or mark as a favourite or be able to add to contacts or bookmark - nada
The long defunct Toronto Calendar was more reliable and Joanne Kates can only visit so many places in a year. Toronto Life is pretty good. Not sure why one nearby entry says restaurant now closed after a data update. Remove it already!
Could just use a todo list, a favorites list and an option to add restaurants to your address book... At a minimum. More social options would be in everyones best interests as well
This is nothing like the great guide which i anxiously wait for all year....DO NOT purchase....just take the guide around with you. I expected to be able to see all the same restaurants that the guide has but it only lists about 20 restaurants even when you search all in all fields. I want my 2 dollars back so disappointed!!
Version 3 is a big improvement: iPad support, geo-locating seems better, opens links in Safari and more restaurants and a separate database to ease updates.
Basic features but expected more from Toronto Life. Better graphics needed to be user friendly and visually appealing. Could use enhanced features like ability to add restaurants to favorite list and potentially even the ability for app users to share their experiences and rate restaurants.
Toronto Lifes restaurant reviews are the only ones in town that I bother with, so I was thrilled when I learned they had an app. Sadly, the early version didnt update very often and frequently told me to go to places that were closed or had new chefs. All that has changed! This new version is always up to date, and sometimes even has reviews ahead of the magazine. There are tons of new features on it too—mapping is much improved and the search Gives you really specific criteria that help when trying to find a particular kind of place (vegetarian, kid-friendly, delivery, take-out, etc.). Thoroughly recommended.
When you click on the review for a restaurant, the app wont let you scroll down to read the whole review. Annoying.
Save your money until they figure out why we cant scroll the reviews. If star ratings is all youre concerned about then go for it but dont expect to be able to read anything about any of the restaurants on the phone because it doesnt work as the previous reviewer also noted.
Very frustrating to try to read the full description for a restaurant.
Please add a to-do list or wish-list that one can create as an option to a favorite (like the blogTo app which i currently use to build my to-do lists while reading Toronto Life) I would like to be able to separate places that Ive been to and really like (favorite) vs. a place that I have never dined at but want to in the future. Also maybe a way to categorize your favorites lists or to-do lists by food type etc Also, it is a bit absurd to not be able to scroll down to read the full review. Isnt that the whole point of the app? Other then these two things, Toronto life is my "best of the city" bible and its always spot on. Keep up the great work and keep on improving! Thanks!
Do no bother downloading!!
I just wasted .99 cents. I expected a lot better from Toronto life. There is no option to give Zero stars.
Not all the functionality is hope for from an app like this, but does the trick.
Reviews appear multiple times, making this app very inefficient.
Sure, its only $0.99, but its not worth it. I have come to expect more from Toronto Life than this. DO NOT BUY.
Search for and click on a restaurant and it closes the app. Very frustrating. Dont waste your money.
I was super amped for this app...now Im not.
